Enjoy your summer vacation! Relax, have fun and make good choices! See you bright and early in the a.m. on Monday August 7th for the first full day of the 2023-2024 school year! (We will not start the year with a 1/2 day.)

We have a team of STATE CHAMPIONS!! Our 4 x 200 relay team consisting of Isaiah Cobbs, Tyler Williams, Malik Curry, and Jace Hodgin finished with the best time in the state! Cara Bruce broke a school record and came in 4th in the 3200 meter and finished 4th in the state! Ryan Coley finished 7th in the state in the 3200 meter. In the triple jump, Kaleia Lee finished 3rd and Emily Bey finished 4th. Kayla Jones finished 5th in the long jump! Congratulations to our track athletes for being state medalists! We are so proud!

The Lady Cougars finished their season today in Murfreesboro at the State Tournament and that in itself is something to be proud of, so hold your heads high girls! The expectation for years to come has now been set! This season was full of fun, growth, and a whole lot of good things from your Lady Cougars. Now it’s time to put in the work during off season and gear up for next year!

We love to see the great things our theatre students are doing! Connor Weatherford and Naeemah Handley will be representing MHS and performing with the ensemble Friday night (5/26) at the High School Musical Theatre Awards at the The Orpheum Theatre-Memphis!

Congratulations to Munford FFA for bringing home the accolades from the West Tennessee FFA Awards Banquet! Overall, all of our Tipton County programs fared well! Munford FFA received the Championship Cup for Overall Regional Champion! WAY TO GO Munford FFA!
