Four of our students attended the WestStar ALStar Youth Leadership Summit in Jackson earlier this week! A BIG SHOUT OUT to Andrew McGlown, Quinston Davis, Quinton Pollard, and Allana Barrow for representing Munford High! When asked the lessons they brought back from the day of leadership training, they each had different answers, ranging from how to choose colleges, how to pay for college, and, our favorite, how to find your purpose! We're celebrating Black History Month with the help of sophomore Allana Barrow! Allana is a talented artist whose passion includes drawing characters, and particularly characters from underrepresented groups. Take a look at her work...enlarge the pictures...so much talent!! Allana sketched each historical figure and had them put on a canvas so we could share on a bulletin board! Her work is phenomenal...and now we look forward to her sketch of our students at Munford High. WAY TO GO Allana!!

The deadline for purchasing a 2022-2023 yearbook has been extended until Friday, February 10th! You can order online by visiting www.yearbookforever.com or in Room 129. The cost is $70. There will be NO extra yearbooks ordered this year, so make sure to order yours by February 10th! You don't want to miss out on the memories of this year!!

We’re SUPER EXCITED! Munford High School and Tipton County Schools will be well-represented on Tennessee’s Student Engagement Council with our own Sarah Ault, Class of 2024, representing one of the eight Centers for Regional Excellence divisions! Out of a competitive application pool, Sarah was selected to have a seat on the Council where she will meet with education officials regarding her perspective on the education system in the State of Tennessee.
